What I'm Listening to

I get asked all the time what I'm listening to these days, so I thought I'd post once in a while while not giving a review of the records- that's up to you. I listen to absolutely everything and anything I can get on my speakers, but Im a sucker for rock. The past couple weeks have been almost constantly filled with the D.R.U.G.S record, it just stayed on repeat for a while, guess I got a little addicted. Last week I got my hands on the Taking Back Sunday record, took longer than I wanted but I'm glad I picked it up- it's taken the place of D.R.U.G.S for now. Next up is The Wombats- Also being played heavily. There's some great mixers on there, Rich Costey, Eric Valentine, and Serban Ghenea, three guys out of a bunch that to me turn out great work, and were a great fit for this one. Eric did the whole TBS record himself by the way. So there you have it. If you're looking for something new to buy, go for these, or any record for that matter.

Uh Huh Baby Yeah

It's been a solid month of working on Uh Huh Baby Yeah's debut record- Produced, Engineered, and Mixed by me. The picture is only a glimpse into how much ridiculousness went on in the studio...

It'll be released sometime this spring, and it's completely awesome if I do say so myself...

Streetlab + C-List + The Slips

I did a remix for Streetlab's "NY Sound"- Here's what Manalogue.com had to say about it:

"New York's STREETLAB just released a bunch of new material, including remixes from some pretty high profile producers taking stabs at their first single, "NYSound." JOE COSTABLE and THE SLIPS work their magic with the former constructing what sounds like a throwback to mid-nineties industrial and the latter drenching the track in an electro sprinkler."
